Yongnuo YN-465 Flash Review
ByAndrew Dooley
Yongnuo YN 465 Is Under $100.
If you're interested in buying a digital flash for less than 100 dollars your options are fairly limited as there is certainly nothing you could buy new from Canon or Nikon for that budget.
But no need to worry as there is a quite a decent TTL flash for under 75 dollars with an additional "M" mode for "strobist" photography on top. That's what you can get with the Yongnuo YN-465 flash.
The YN-465, the first TTL model from the Yongnuo ( I know the name is not particularly flashy, but who cares), is basically a TTL-enabled YN460. It is available in a Canon E-TTL (II) version or as a Nikon i-TTL model.
Both of these flashes are sold under the same name but are different technically so you need to make ensure that it's the right version for your camera brand when buying one of them.
Yongnuo YN 465 Description
The YongNuo YN-465 is a high performance flash for most of the Canon DSLR cameras. The TTL mode of this YongNuo flash for canon automatically sets the flash light so that you get a perfect image. You can also adjust the right amount of light as per your preference with the M mode of this YongNuo flash. The Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor of this YongNuo flash for canon ensures greater efficiency and improved performance. The YongNuo YN-465 flash comes with 0-90 degree vertical rotation angle and 0-270 degree horizontal rotation angle that accurately provide light in a wider area. The 4 AA Alkaline cell of this YongNuo flash offers greater power so that you get light for a longer time. Get greater reliability with 100 - 1500 lighting times from the YongNuo YN-465 flash.
Within the Yongnuo categories you can find two more TTL flashes: the Yongnuo YN-467 for Canon or Nikon and the Yongnuo YN-468 (Canon only). The YN-465 is the entry level flash. The range now was extended by the addition of the YN-565.
YN 465 Technical Specification
This YN-465 Flash Speedlite, has TTL function, is designed for Canon Camera, It boasts an array of features that flawlessly complement the camera, which will make any photography-savvy individual swell with content.
TTL mode, the metering system of this camera will detect flash illumination reflected back from the object so as to automatically control flash output in this mode. When taking photos, you only require aiming at some scene and press the shutter after focusing, the light will give proper light as per tips and then you can get your desired photo.
M mode, you can set flash luminance as per your favorite, luminance level will be displayed by luminance indicator. When taking photos, you only require setting the flash luminance, adjust the camera and press the shutter, the flash light will flash under the camera synchronous signal.
Test mode: Press the PILOT button to test if the flash-light flashes normally. In M mode, the test flash will send light with different luminance per level of output selected.
Camera Compatibility
The Yongnuo YN 465 flash is designed in both Canon and Nikon versions. Some of the ausction and other sites do list these flashes under specific camera model, but in truth there are no sub version. So all the flashes designed for Canon are the same and so are the YN-speedlites for Nikon.
Canon Cameras:
The YN-465 is compatible with most, but not with all Canon DSLR cameras. Check the list below:
Canon 40D 50D 350D 400D 450D 500D 1000D"The flash is incompatible with old, film-based Canon cameras from the pre-ETTL days
Nikon Cameras
Overall, the Yongnuo YN 465 should work with all Nikon i-TTL DSLR from the D80 or later.Yongnuo reports that, the 465 is not compatible with the Nikon D100, D50, D70 and the D2 series models.

KRK RP6 Review
BySteve L Daniels
The KRK RP6 G2 Rokit series have long been one of the go to monitors for professional mixers and engineers looking for a great flat monitor to mix with.
If you're looking for some studio monitors with a great reputation, and aren't too expensive, the KRK RP6 Generation 2 monitors could be the perfect solution for you.
The main benefit with the Rokit series is the flat response it gives, and the affordability which makes high quality available now to the general public.
So first of all, how is the design?
Design:
Stylish but professional:
The KRK Rokit series all have a great stylish quality to them, while still maintaining a professional look. The famous yellow cones make the KRK series one of the most recognizable studio monitors in the industry, having been used by engineers and studio owners for years. On top of that, the KRK logo will light up when turned on, which is a nice touch.
Build Quality:
KRK has created a great sturdy set of speakers, although they are a little heavy for their size, they do not have a 'cheap ' feel in any way.
The curved plate design is also created to eliminate any distortion that comes with inferior build quality.
Pros:
Great Reputation
The KRK RP6s have a great reputation in the music industry, and you'll be able to find them in many major studios across the world. Engineers have been using them as reference speakers for years, and KRK has established their Rokit monitors as one of the best in the field. If you've spent any time in various studios, you're bound to have seen some version of the KRK Rokits around.
Sonic Qualities:
The KRK Rp6's give a good flat response, and have great mids. The imaging is good also, but you will have to be aware of the speaker placement to get the most out of these monitors. The proper placement is available in the guide so make sure you read that before you set them up. If you're looking for a pair of monitors that will provide you with uncoloured sonics, then these will be perfect for you. However, because of the size (6") there is some lacking of bass response.
Price:
For the quality of the monitors, the price is quite cheap. They go for around $200 (per speaker). This means you can get a pair of professional studio monitors for your home studio for under $500. However if the price range is too steep, you may want to opt for the RP5's, which is the 5" version of the KRK Rp6's.
Cons:
Bass response:
Because the speakers are only 6", you may want to attach a sub if you are a huge bass lover. These speakers will not deliver 'ground-shaking' bass, and to get the full range of the lower frequencies a sub may be required. However, for mixing/reference purposes, the bass response shouldn't be a problem.
Not for general listening:
These monitors are not designed for general listening, and will not necessarily make your music sound 'better'. They are designed for musicians/engineers, who want to hear music with as much clarity and 'flatness' as possible. If you are looking to hear your music the way it 'actually' sounds, then these are for you. However, if you are looking for speakers to make your music sound better, then you may want to look elsewhere.
Conclusion:
The KRK Rp6 G2's are a great pair of studio monitors, and are perfect for:
Project studio owners
First time studio monitor buyers
Small bedroom studios
If you own a bigger studio, you may want to pay the extra and invest in the RP8s for the wider frequency response and bass response. However, if you are a musician or engineer looking for a pair of flat monitors for your home or project studio, which has a great reputation and quality for a unbeatable price, then the RP6's will be perfect.
Finally, if you're interested in getting the best studio monitors, check out the Best Studio Monitors reviews at http://www.best-studiomonitors.com

ByT M Curtis
With the introduction of the Kindle Fire Amazon.com has decided to take on the computer giant Apple and they are not using a sling shot. On Sept. 28, 2011 Amazon took the raps off its entry into the Apple iPad dominated computer tablet market, with a tablet that not only exhibits some of the features of its competitor but offers it at half the price. Are You Looking for the Best Price for Nikon D3100? - Nikon D3100 Vs D500 Review
ByNicky D.
How long have you been into photography? Are you a beginner, a developer or simply just someone who loves to shoot. The good news for DSLR camera enthusiasts like us is the fact that we can now choose from a wide variety of brands and models available from so many reputable online shops around. Not only that, nowadays, DSLR cameras are becoming so affordable not to mention the promos and discounts being offered from time to time.
Amazon, Cameralabs, Snapsort, Kenrockwell and many others are some of the best places to start with when looking for the best price for Nikon D3100, D5000, Canon t1i and Canon t2i. At times, you may also need other important camera accessories and that's why these online shops are simply awesome to sort out all that you need when buying a DSLR camera for yourself.
The Nikon D3100 price of about $500 is a good choice if you are looking for an entry-level camera. If you are still new and learning the so called "pro" functions and digits of DSLR type cameras (ie., ISO, aperture, light-control, time-delays, powershots), then this could be best one for you. It's pretty close competitor is Canon t1i which features the new compatibility with SDXC memory cards.
D3100 indeed takes very good quality pictures and you cannot fail on that. With its 14 megapixels image sensors, you would love the clarity of pictures especially when you crop your images a lot. Some images get pixilated when force-cropped due to limited pixels. Buying D3100 instead of other models like the D700 and D5100 may also allow you to extend the capacity of your camera if you plan to get better camera lens later on.
If you have a good amount of money reserved for a DSLR of your choice, by all means you better get the one from higher models. This is especially true if photography is a form of livelihood to you. Better quality images bring better clients and in the end bring better income to your pocket. With those models also, you could easily compete with others.
I suggest you dig more and read related reviews available over the internet. One good review to start with is a pure discussion between Nikon D3100 vs D5000 which you could look closely the difference between these two models. Also, there are great online shops available to shop for a DSLR camera. These shops allow buyers and users to post their comments and reviews and surely you will also benefit from those.
If you are looking for Nikon D3100 best price, then better check that out!

Toshiba 55TL515U Review
ByDorian Alexander
The Toshiba 55TL515U is a 55-inch natural 3D 1080p 240 Hz LED LCD HDTV with local dimming. This high definition TV delivers brilliant movies and games in natural 3D, as well as in 1080p full high definition imagery in 2D. It is ideal for people who want to be able to enjoy extended in-your-face gaming or 3-dimensional viewing.
This HDTV features an exclusive ClearFrame 240 Hz anti-blur technology that eliminates blurring of fast-paced video and sports. Also, with local dimming, blacks and contrast ratios are significantly improved for a measurably enhanced picture quality. Driven by LED backlight technology, this television displays images with the use of liquid crystal illumination just like traditional LCD models. The difference, however, is that unlike LCD TVs, the LED backlight is made of several light emitting diodes, which results in a picture that offers deeper blacks, brighter whites, and more vivid colors.
And because the Toshiba 55TL515U has a 1080p resolution, this HDTV delivers more than just high definition. Its output actually represents the finest HD picture quality available today where skin tones, textures, and landscapes suddenly seem like real life. Shadows are deeper and richer, colors pop, and highlights simply come alive with amazing character. The secret behind this is more pixels. Using a 1920 x 1080 resolution screen, this television displays over two million pixels.
Other features of this high definition TV is the CineSpeed LED panel, which delivers superior high speed video and has a wide viewing angle that ensures a better viewing experience from a variety of seating areas; the passive 3D technology, which makes it ideal for families and gamers who want to enjoy immersive action and in-depth movies and games in 3D; and TriVector, which converts 2D to 3D.
To further delve into TriVector, this technology is based on exclusive Toshiba Chip with cell algorithms. The software converts 2D images from television programs, movies, and video games into 3D by analyzing individual frames and estimating the depth of each area in the frame process in order to create separate stereoscopic 3-dimensional images for the left and right eye.
What's even better is that with the Toshiba 55TL515U, users can switch from one mode to another - native mode, gaming mode, and expert mode. In the native mode, users are able to take control easily. This mode eliminates unnecessary scaling of full HD signals that can reduce overall image resolution and quality. The gaming mode lets users enjoy hair-trigger action with a special setting that reduces game controller delay. Lastly, the expert mode allows for more precise picture adjustments to create a totally optimized home theater experience!

Video Phone Review - An Honest Review Of The Product
There are many players in this market as it continues to grow. Companies like Cisco, Polycom, Aiptek, LG, Skype, Aiphone and a slew of others compete in video phone market space. Even Donald Trump featured a company on his show, the Celebrity Apprentice, no once but twice, showcasing this technology. Do you think "The Donald" promotes anything that is not profitable? (Ok. Maybe so, if you pay him enough) Cisco announced last year at the Consumer Electronics Show that it would spend approximately $3 billion dollars for a company to manufacture a home version of their Telepresence product. A company that is spending that type of cash is not in it to be 2nd or 3rd. Better yet, they're not investing that type of money to be "somewhat" profitable.
Competition
The video phone calling market does have competition. Not only is there competition in this market, some companies are doing it for free. Skype offers a free calling feature to their members that allows you to see the person you are talking to. It was featured on CNN and, at the time, they were contemplating charging for the service. The drawback is that the service is very choppy (you ALWAYS get what you pay for). So with companies offering free services, how do companies plan to compete?.
Mobile
What about on mobile phones? Right now you can have video capability on just about any smartphone out there. There are free apps like Tango that allows you to see the person you are talking to right from your smart phone. iPhone has FaceTime that does the same thing. So with the purchase of your smart phone, video phone features are built right in, for free. With so many people using their cell phones as home phones, you would think that the market gets smaller and smaller for this product. However, if you have seen the actual service in action on your mobile device you wouldn't be all that thrilled. It is a great concept and it works OK but I am just glad it's free.
Cost
As previously mentioned, you can't beat free. But anyone looking to purchase, right now they range anywhere from $166 to $660 for the higher end equipment. Again, Cisco didn't pay big money to lose, so with all the talk of free video phone calling and equipment being given away, this is a highly profitable industry and experts predict that this will become the standard home phone over the next 7 to 10 years. Are you on board with this new technology?
If you would like to learn more about video phones and get the inside scoop on hot deals on video phones, follow industry expert Mori Langshaw on what is soon to be the hottest technology.

Another thing that this unit takes pride in is its LED backlighting. Finally, this Smart TV has Samsung apps, allowing it to access media files and a wealth of other technologies. This unit features Samsung's Smart Hub, which is a simple menu system for connected features. With web-connected apps on your Smart TV, you will be able to stream movies from Netflix or Blockbuster, videos from YouTube, television programs from Hulu, and Next Level sports information from ESPN; listen to music from Pandora; and view updates on your Facebook or Twitter account newsfeeds.

Panasonic Viera TCP50GT30 Review
ByFrederick Herd
The Panasonic Viera TCP50GT30 is a 3D plasma HDTV that measures 50 inches. This unit has a flush design and an infinite black 2 panel, and delivers a full high-definition 1080p resolution. With this television unit at your disposal, you will be able to create an all new viewing experience by putting you inside the action and creating a new world of TV viewing realism.
As mentioned earlier, this unit has an infinite black 2 panel. This simply means that contrast in brightly lit locations has been significantly improved as in all new Viera models. Enhancements have been made to the panel and cells in order to help reproduce images with smooth natural gradation and deep rich blacks even when viewed in bright surroundings. True deep blacks add power and realism to the viewing experience, which is precisely why they faithfully convey the intent of the filmmakers in most movies.
What's more is that with its full time 1080 moving picture resolution technology, 1,080 lines of moving pictures are delivered at the 1.5-second level. This allows for inherently clear motion of Viera TVs in both 2D and 3D images. In fact, all Viera plasma televisions have 1,080 lines of moving picture resolution. This new motion compensating technology has made it possible to render faster moving pictures with greater sharpness, even surpassing the APDC moving picture resolution measurement standard of five seconds.
Apart from that, the Panasonic Viera TCP50GT30 features a 3D 24p cinema smoother. This technology analyzes picture information in both the preceding and succeeding frames in order to create a precise supplementary frame in between them. This suppresses the jerky effect usually seen in movies, so that playback is smooth and natural-looking. Through this innovative technology, the distinctive tonal qualities and atmosphere of the movie are preserved, and viewers are able to enjoy extremely lifelike 3-dimensional images.
In addition to that is Panasonic's full HD frame sequential technology which creates its 3D images. With this technology, images recorded in the 1920 x 1080 pixels for both the right and the left eye alternately flash on the screen at the extremely high rate of 120 frames per second. This allows viewers to see breath-taking full high-definition 3D pictures with stunning power and realism. Finally, Panasonic has attained both high contrast and low power consumption by way of combining the highly light-transmissive IPS alpha panel and high-brightness backlight.
What are you waiting for, then? Step in to the 3D world with the Panasonic Viera TCP50GT30!

Sony KDL-65HX923 Review
ByTom Verdi
Among the most recently-developed TV models is the Sony KDL65HX923, which is a "top of the range" 65 inch Bravia LED TV. Its pictures are of higher quality than those of any TV from ten or even five years ago, thanks to new technology. Full High Definition is made possible by LED backlighting, which enhances both the blacks and the whites. LED comes in three forms- Edge, Dynamic Edge, and Intelligent Peak- each delivers richer pictures than the one before it.
Most Bravia TVs use them, but the Sony KDL65HX923 uses Intelligent Peak, whose picture effect is "truly cinematic." The white LEDs of this form illuminate the screen from directly behind, and can be turned on and off in any combination to provide a well- lit picture- or, conversely, to provide a rich black. Also, the contrasts and details are heightened by localised "peak white" boosts. Motionflow XR 800 also makes the action viewing clearer.
If that were not enough, each set comes with two pairs of 3D glasses so that owners can view the show with the impression that they are actually there! These operate by electricity and can be recharged when they run down.
TVs, of course, have always been used for viewing programs that are currently being broadcast; but on the KDL65HX923 you can also view the Internet using X-Reality PRO! And this is useful in case you missed the last episode of your favourite show, since official sites of TV stations allow their programmes to be played for free. Likewise, you can watch videos on YouTube or anywhere else online- and also do anything people do online, such as connect with friends through Facebook, Twitter, and all those other social networks. And Sony Entertainment provides extra channels free of charge, including those specific to particular regions, and is constantly adding new ones. Plus, you can watch by means of BBC iPlayer. And even as you are watching, you can learn about the movie with Video Search. You can even make videos of yourself and make voice calls with Skype! It is certainly convenient to have so many different functions integrated into a single machine, rather than have to switch back and forth from TV to computer to telephone... And the VCR/ DVD player has now been superseded by the USB port as a means of recording TV shows. So now you have two options when you miss a programme: record it or watch in online.
The Sony KDL65HX923 is not only an excellent means of providing entertainment that is easy to watch, AND making calls, AND connecting over the Internet; it also fits in well with room architecture. The people at Sony designed this set with contemporary home architecture in mind- not only the screen, but the accessories- the subwoofer and speakers. A sensor keeps children from sitting too close.
So if you really want high viewing quality, contact your local Sony dealer and get your KDL65HX923 without delay. Let 's hear it for tech!
Wait I have more info for you...

HDMax Extreme Review
ByEric Furby
If you're looking to get a professional action camera to video your extreme outdoor sports, there are a few different cameras to consider that are all around the same price range and all do the same basic thing.
In this review, we'll take a closer look at the new HDMax Extreme action camera and see how it stacks up to the other cameras in the same market.
HDMax Extreme Features
The first thing you'll notice about the HDMax extreme is that it has a built-in color LCD screen right on the side of the camera. It's quite big at 2 inches which is bigger than the screen found on Drift Innovation's cameras. This makes framing the shot very easy and also useful for replaying your video right after you record.
The lens is a wide-angle lens which can record 140 degrees across in 720p and 110 degrees in 1080p. While it's not as wide as most other competing camera which are 170 degrees, it's still a decent amount of angle.
HD video recording is a given because of the name "HDMax" suggests. It has a variety of HD video settings to choose from, from 720p to 1080p and also a number of variable frame rates from 30fps to 60 fps. If you want to do slow-motion, the 60fps setting is the best for smooth slow-mo playback and video editing.
You'll find that the lens also rotates at the nose of the camera. This is useful for lining up the shot without fussing about with mounts so much. This is not a unique feature as nearly all action cameras these days have the rotating lens. It's great for when you mount the camera upside down or on an unusual angle.
The Specs Of The HDMax Extreme
Video recording options are as follows:
1080p at 30 fps720p at 30 / 60 fps480p at 30 / 60 fps
The aspect ratio of the footage comes in 16:9 widescreen for that cinematic feel.
There is a built-in microphone but also the option to plug in an external mic so picking up quality sound is no problem.
Average recording time in full HD 1080p and 720p at 6fps is 15 minutes per GB which is pretty efficient compared to other cameras. In 720p at 30fops it will give you 30 minutes per GB.
Battery life is also quite god as a full charge of the 3.7V 1000mAh Lithium-Ion battery will give you up to 2 hours of record time. Recharging is done by USB or via AC wall adapter, both of which cables are provided.
The camera is weather proof as in it will hold out some water, but there is an optional waterproof case for when you want to take it underwater (sold separately).
What's In The Box
When you buy the HDMax Extreme camera, this is what you'll find in the box when you open it up.
1 HDMax Extreme HD camera1 Goggle Mount1 Flat Mount with adhesive stickers1 Handlebar Mount1 Vented Helmet Mount with elastic strap1 Lanyard Rope1 Carry pouch1 USB Cable1 AV-OUT Cable1 AC charger1 Li-Ion 1000mA battery1 User manual (CD-ROM)1 Wired Remote Controller1 HDMI Cable2gb Micro SD Card1 Micro SD card to SD card adapter for use in card readers (not mentioned on website)12 month warranty
You get all you need to start using this action camera right out of the box. There aren't many options to upgrade it except for a waterproof case and a 12V/5V DC battery charger you can use in your car.
Something else you might want to upgrade is to get a bigger MicroSD card. This camera can take up to a 32GB MicroSD card for when you need a lot of memory.
Overall this is a great camera that seems to have all the features and specs of the other major cameras. The only downside is the price which is a little on the high side but not extremely high.
For more info about this action camera, please check out my full on my website. If you're interested in purchasing it and want more info about where to buy a HD Max Extreme camera and get the best deal online, you will also find that on my website.
